Nicole Richie and her fiancé, Joel Madden, opened their arms to their newest member of the family. Richie gave birth to a six lb., seven oz. baby girl named Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Richie, famous for her reality television series known as Simple Life, and Madden, member of Good Charlotte, have been an official couple for over a year now; but rumors started spreading about the baby expectancy when Richie's belly began to balloon up. Richie told Diane Sawyer last August that she was pregnant but the pregnancy was unplanned. Richie claims that her situation was a "blessing in disguise."

Even though baby Madden may not even be a day old, she already has a nonprofit in her name. "In honor of their firstborn, Richie and Madden created the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation in November, with the goal of giving back to other young families in the community," said E! News. It is rumored that Richie and Madden plan on getting married later this year.
